Arvydas Macijauskas(1.93-SG) is having trouble signing up to play for his National Team in the up and coming Eurobasket competition in Poland this September. The problem is that he has not participated in a single official game anywhere in Europe because of his judicial battle with Olympiakos that still lingers on.
Macijauskas refuses to give up the money on his contract and Olympiakos refuse to allow him to sign somewhere else if he doesn't give up the money. This could very well take a lot of time to resolve. Macijauskas on the other hand went over to FIBA and submitted all the paperwork that explains why he wasn't allowed to play any games although he had a contract.
