Nikos Pappas(1.91-SG/PG) will be lent for one season to Kolossos Rhodes from Bilbao according to the official website of Bilbao. The greek combo guard won the silver medal in the U-19 World Championship in New Zealand and the gold medal in the U-20 European Championship in Greece, playing for the National Team of Greece. As he needs to complete his military service in Greece he wanted to play for a Greek team, preferrably one that would participate in the A1 League and Kolossos Rhodes might just be the one.
Nikos Pappas in his statements said that it is a great opportunity for him to develop his talent further and get more playing time in a more competitive league. He averaged 15.6 points 4 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 9 games in the U-19 World Championship and also 12.8 points 3.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 9 games in the U-20 European Championship.
